The unique challenge
- BD advice online is either fluffy LinkedIn wisdom or $2k/month enterprise CRMs — nothing in between.
- I wanted a sharp, opinionated coach that tells me which conversations are worth having this week and which aren't.
- And it had to remember my pipeline so I'm not re-explaining every Monday.
The approach
- Seeded with a single persona prompt: a blunt, warm BD veteran allergic to fluff.
- Bolted on auth so pipeline entries persist per user.
- Used the Lovable AI Gateway for coaching turns — no OpenAI key, no config sprawl.
- Iterated by pasting real (anonymized) BD situations and asking the model to critique its last answer.
The outcome
- Live at bdgator.com.
- Replaces three tabs (sheet, notes app, DM thread) with one page I actually open on Monday mornings.

Given the pipeline entries in the DB for user X this week, rank them by expected value AND likelihood of a next step happening in the next 7 days. Explain the ranking in one sentence each. Flag any that should be killed.
